Looking for some new inspiration that provides useful information and advices on how to personally grow and create momentum to pursuit your goals? Today I’m sharing three of my most favourite, life-changing books that will help every goal-oriented person (or for that matter every person) to generate more success and improve as a person.

Each book has a lot of content around personal development and each of them for me was a huge help to get closer to achieving my personal and professional goals.

After reading those books I felt something has changed in the way I thought and saw things. They all provided some strategies for me to apply immediately, which in my opinion is a great benefit and makes them so valuable.

When it comes to books, for me nothing is more important than getting value in form of new information and practical tips. A life-changing book for me is one, where I have to write all over and take notes on the side, so I don’t forget anything.

Everything else is just not fun reading and kind of a waste of my time.

So, as you might figure, I’m very picky with what I read but once I find a good book, I’m so stoked by what impact it has on my life.

There’s literally nothing better than a book that delivers so much value in every single line. I mostly finish those in a couple weeks because I get so addicted ;).

And because I loved those books so much I needed to share them with you. So, here are three of those life-changing books I read recently and highly recommend you to read too if you’re really serious about growing as a person and achieving your goals in life

1. Mindset by Carol Dweck

I’ve talked about this book a few times in other posts.

This book shows you how your perception of your abilities and talents can affect your performance and success. In “Mindset” Carol Dweck explaines in an entertaining way, why certain people are successful and others not and how it has nothing to do with ones’ abilities or talents. By pointing out the two kinds of Mindset a person can take, a fixed and a growth Mindset, she provides a way for everyone to have success in every field of his or her life by just changing Mindset.

In addition, she gives you a lot of practical tips on how you can change (and help others change) your Mindset in certain areas of your life to get happier and more successful.

Although I found I was already on a good way to implement a growth Mindset before reading this book, it gave me a lot of new information and help I needed to completely change my point of view. I also discovered some areas where I had a fixed Mindset and now know how to change it there.

After reading this book you will have the ability to discover a fixed Mindset in your life and the life others and know a way for you and others to overcome it and see things in a growth oriented way.

2. Hustle by Neil Patel, Patrick Vlaskovits and Jonas Koffler

This is the most recent book I read. I just finished it a few days ago but I didn’t want to withhold it.

It is a bit more business and entrepreneur oriented, however it’s a great source for everyone who wants to get more successful in their jobs and life in general.

Like the title “Hustle – the power to charge your life with money, meaning and momentum” says, it is all about how hustling can help you with creating opportunities you wish you had, manufacturing luck and achieving your personal and professional goals.

The three authors provide useful strategies on to follow your dreams by changing your day to day behaviour.

Lastly, they help you to create a personal opportunity portfolio (short POP) which will be your go to on the way to building a major, meaningful career.

I’ve been looking for a book like this for a long time. I have already created kind of a POP before, but it was very unstructured and I didn’t really know how to bring it all together. But after reading this book things are clearer than ever and I now can completely focus on taking action!

So, after reading this book, you will have a clear strategy on how to start pursuing your goals and take manufacturing luck in your own hands.

3. The Life Changing Magic of not giving a F**k by Sarah Knight

A very basic book about starting to own your life.

Sarah writes in a very funny and entertaining way how important it is to not care what others think, say or want.

She takes you through her own journey of being stressed out, overwhelmed and unhappy with life and gives you a method to get rid of all unpleasant obligations to have more time, energy and money to spend on the things you love.

“The Life Changing Magic of not giving a F**k” was the kick start of my interest in self-development books. It’s so funny written, I had to giggle all the time.

In addition, it opened my eyes and it confirmed my Mindset of not caring about what others say or think about me.

I can also just recommend you reading her second book “How to get your shit together” it is as valuable as the first one and a great addition that makes this journey of owning your time, money and energy complete.

After implementing what you read in it you will experience how it is to not feel threatened by society and leashed to a life you don’t want to have.

No matter with what book you start, each one will change your life and will have a positive impact on pursuing your dreams.

I hope you found something good and now have new inspiration to charge in life.
