It is summer, it is hot… and we are longing nothing more than a cool and refreshing scoop of ice cream before we jump in this nice and glassy water, catching some stunning waves.
Wouldn’t it just be so full of sugar and other unhealthy stuff. We just worked so hard to get this fit and finally were able to achieve the goal we were aiming for so long. We can’t just through this surf fitness away, we’ve still got tons of great waves to catch!
Well, there is a way you can have ice cream without cheating. Just try this amazing Summer Surfer Bowl. It is not just a very delicious and refreshing, but also super healthy recipe.
Summer Surfers Bowl
Prep: on day before • Cook: 10 min • Difficulty: Easy • Servings: 1
What you need
2 frozen bananas
Handful of frozen strawberries
Handful of frozen blackberries
2 tsp. acai powder
50 ml water
(1 scoop protein powder – optional)
Toppings: strawberries, blueberries, chia seeds, coconut flakes, sunflower seeds
On the day before (or even days before): freeze fruits. Make sure they are in junks, otherwise the blender’s not going to make it.
- Now put all ingredients in the blender (except of toppings of cause).
- Blend until you get ice cream consistence.
- Fill in a pretty bowl and top with whatever you like.
- Enjoy this whole bowl of goodness!
P.S.: You can vary fruits and liquids and you’ll get a totally different flavour. Just be creative and there are a ton of delicious bowls you can taste.
