And that is why I made it my mission to help people overcome limiting believes and reprogram their mind and thus transform their lives through Tapping.
EFT and TFT are amazing practices that you can implement into your day to day life to support you with overcoming negativity and welcoming positivity. Like acupuncture it focuses on renewing the energy flow in your body that is responsible for the emotions and thoughts you experience every day. It helps to reprogram your subconscious to come up with more empowering, positive thoughts instead of the old, limiting beliefs it used to produce. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a therapeutic concept from the field of “energetic psychology” and represents a method to relief and treatment of stress and mental health by stimulating meridian pathways. It is based on the mind-body connection that is responsible for the thoughts and emotions we have. Furthermore, it was discovered that through this mind-body connection the subconscious mind could be accessed and neural pathways can be reprogrammed. Through connecting with our fears, worries and doubts and starting to reflect in an open and non-judgmental way we learn to put aside out beliefs and truths and be open to take on board new ones and have our beliefs changed. EFT has been studied across a wide range of populations and issues. It has been found to be an “evidence-based” practice for releasing pent up emotions and treat anxiety, depression, phobias and PTSD when measured against the standards of the American Psychological Association’s Division 12 Task Force on Empirically Validated Treatments. On the same note it is based on the CBT (cognitive behavioural theory) which is a psycho-social intervention that aims to improve mental health.
Here is how BLISS changed my life…
After years of living my dream and traveling the world, it was time for a change. I had just broken up with my boyfriend and it left me lost, tumbling and full of grieve and unhealed wounds. But despite the hardship of this breakup and the (temporary) loss of my DreamLife, it was good for one thing. I finally saw all the limiting beliefs, doubts and fears that got me into this position.
All the self-sabotaging I had done to take away the happiness I had created for myself. All the limiting beliefs that were standing in my way to getting it back and making peace with the past. It all came up and I was totally paralyzed, frozen in the unknowing of what my next step would be, afraid of making mistakes and totally vulnerable lot all outside influence. I lost my identity, my self-worth, the love for myself and my confidence. I was a mess, I couldn’t go back, I couldn’t go forward, I was stuck. Stuck in the frustration, the negativity, the grieve, the doubt and the worry.
One day I remembered something I heard years before, something about a technique that was supposed to help you release emotions, introduce healing and change neural pathways (your thinking). I went out and seeked more information about that technique and I found a wonderful woman willing to help me learn, grow and evolve.
I started working with EFT and immediately experienced the amazing benefits it can have on your mental health, your soul and your overall well-being. I immediately overcame two of my biggest personal struggles: the loss of my boyfriend and my perfectionism. It stood out to me that only 4 weeks of practice would help me make 2 major life transitions that I would never had thought being possible. I knew I found gold.
Because of experiencing such major change in such a short period of time, I aimed to explore further what EFT could do. I started to combine it with the power of coaching, since I knew this method was helpful in many other areas of my life and had some similarities to EFT. I started to consciously implement EFT in my every day mindfulness practice and upgrade it with a coaching session every once in a while to make change even more powerful and intentional.
Ever since then, I overcame soooo many personal struggles, from super deep, long built up limiting beliefs to situational emotions that arise or just a feeling or thought that holds me back that moment. And that is the beauty of EFT, it not only helps you to reprogram your mind from the bottom to the top, but also is a wonderful quick fix to negative emotions, anxiety and even physical pain.
Through EFT I have established a method and tool kit that helps me cope with anything and always be prepared in times of struggle or hard ship. And now I want to give this gift to others too. The question is, do you want to take it?
